When attending your first Brazilian Jiu Jitsu class, here are a few things you can expect:

To walk into a welcoming environment and to have fun!
A light warm up roll or stretches.
Rolling: This is where you apply the techniques you’ve learned in a more dynamic and realistic setting. You may watch, or join in when you're comfortable with doing so.
Supportive Environment: Darkhorse has a supportive and welcoming atmosphere where we help each other learn and grow. You can expect fellow students and instructors to assist you and answer your questions during class.
Proper Attire: A clean shirt and shorts (Or a proper rash guard if you have one). Avoid wearing anything with metal or sharp objects that could potentially harm you or your training partner.
